I liked the lock. The attachment for the bike was problematic. Lock sticks in holder. Too small for the upright tube or handle bar extension. Too big for the handle bars. Should have included more fillers. No Velcro wrap to keep coils tight. I fixed it. With a small length of a rubber strip.

I bought this lock for my electric scooter that I use to commute at college. The mechanism is very smooth and simple to use. The holder that attaches to the scooter was a bit too big, but it just swings from the handlebars and works just fine.
A week ago I left for vacation and locked up my scooter in a less-than-nice part of town. When I came back, it appeared that someone had attempted to cut the lock. The combination was different than when I left it, the scooter was in its folded position instead of upright, and there was a cut mark in the rubber layer of the lock. However, the steel cable remained uncut! Even though it appeared that someone used bolt cutters on it, this lock managed to keep my scooter safe. Definitely worth the purchase.

I bought this cable lock to replace the one that I owned for ten years but lost. I selected this unit because I was using it for my eBike and wanted the heaviest duty cable 12-mm instead of the thinner 10-mm or less commonly available. The fact that it has five combinations vs the typical four was not important. This unit also has a very convenient mounting that I attached to my seat post making it less likely I will lay it down and lose it. I also like the very convenient way to setup/change the combination. After 13 years I forgot how to set my previous cable lock. This unit has the setting fixture right in front of me every time I open the lock. Even I can't forget that.
