While I get what others are saying about flexibility I believe this ice pack is as flexible as any and possibly a bit more. Don't expect any ice pack to lay on your body like a silk scarf. I bought two so I can always have one in the freezer when I am using the other. Later I will alternate one for the microwave and the other in the freezer once the swelling subsides. I understand the complaint that the ice pack weighs more than smaller ones and this is to be expected. It is larger! I would not want to use this over a surgical incision for a very long time. The size of this ice pack is perfect for the knee. I am not sure it would work for a neck unless a person were to lay on top of it and then I would not do that without a towel in between. The directions probably frown against laying on it so I would check the instructions. I needed an ice pack which covered the entire knee top, bottom, and sides. This one is great. They also replace the cover or ice pack if certain issues arise - indefinitely. Look at the back of the 10% off additional purchase card enclosed in the box!! I am very happy with my purchase and I am going to use the 10% off card to purchase some narrower ice packs for smaller issues.

Love this hot and cold pack. Ben trying to find something large enough for anywhere on my body, and this one certainly fits the bill. Works amazingly and gets so cold and also works well as a heat pack, plus I love the wrap around velcro feature! Definitely would recommend and the price can't be beat as well. Have had it for a few months and so far so good.

I bought this specifically to ice my knee. It would be the perfect item except when loaded in the pouch, the 3 seams of the ice pack run across rather than parallel to leg, so you have to let it thaw a bit to form properly around the knee. What would make this a perfect design is making the pack and pouch a perfect square so you can load it either direction to form properly around whatever area you are icing. (It's not that big a deal since thawing for 5 minutes before use makes it pliable enough to form.)
