I fostered a momma cat and her kittens a little while ago and while we were waiting for the babies to grow the momma had gone into heat, spraying in varies places. This blacklight helped immensely by illuminating the areas so there was no guess work of where I needed to clean. The size of this flashlight is pretty impressive. Its actually massive but it works so well!

This works amazingly in a dark room. New stains appear yellow. Old stains and lint appear white. I haven't used it to check for bedbugs yet.

Received this lamp and it was a nice addition to have the glasses as well, even though they are not really needed. We have 4 dogs and I believed myself to be a pretty clean person, even with so many pets. I put batteries in the unit and turned it on. I was not aware that it would light up so much. I saw spittle/saliva from when they drink, or shake. And was absolutely shocked at everything I had "missed". Naturally I cleaned everything again. Now it is hard to tell, the difference between the bleach cleaner and the "natural" stains. I am glad that i purchased this item

I use this light a lot for making keychains with UV Resin and it works really well. Love that it's big and covers the entire circle. It's bright. Also, we bought some foreclosed property next to ours and the house smelled horrible. Using this light on the carpet and I can see why. The carpet lit up like a crime scene. I have a 15 year old Dachshund that I suspected was having accidents on my carpet at home too. I suspected right. If you don't want to be horrified at looking at your carpet, don't get this light, lol. It works! The only downside is it takes 6 AA batteries. Not a deal breaker but we'll see how long they last.

I'm not sure how people give this a bad review! You need to be in the dark to have this work ie most likely at night without lights - only the black light.
I saw all the spots my cats threw up that I thought I cleaned up well (I try to keep my house super clean and this just showing me everything!). I saw spots that I have missed cleaning urine. I'll be using a better enzyme cleaner for both throw up and urine now.
This is a great tool and the glasses help bring out the affected spots more. Definitely worth the purchase!
