Its sturdy thick glass for my little 20 gallon top fin tank. The fit is pretty much perfect. The only minor downfalls are the flange in the back where you cut out for cords, filters , etc. is slightly shorter than the main lid opening, but I am sure that is an easy fix with some glue and cutting out pieces from a glad tupperwear container. The other small issue is the little handle to lift the lid came off already.....the adhesive is not that great , so I had to superglue it on. Even with these minor issues, I would highly recommend.

After I ordered, Pidaz contacted me to verify the size I needed. I confirmed, and they sent the package. (a definite plus)

It Arrived today, well packed. I removed it from the box and inspected. Clean cuts and nice glass.

I measure the accessories and cut the plastic back piece to fit. A Dremel tool made short work of this process. I placed them in place, and a perfect fit. Cleaned the area of the glass for the handles and adhered them into place. Felt solid (them will definitely tell)

This will definitely do well for the new light (as seen in the picture)

Would recommend to any body looking for a glass canopy!!

I got these lids for my 55 gallon to use with my fluval aqua sky lights and it works like a charm. Only downsides is the handles have come off a couple times so I've had to re-glue them on and that the back flaps very much do not want to go on (which isn't a big deal since I don't have big jumpers- if you have hatchetfish you may want to consider that).

I like the look of aquariums with no lids, but I was losing so much water to evaporation that I finally decided I needed a lid. I had a cheesy plastic lid, but it wouldn't accommodate the potato vines growing out of my tank. This glass lid allowed my potato to remain, allows me the top view of my floating plants and curious fish, reduction of evaporation, and easy partial access with a hinge in place. The fit was almost perfect, and in fact being a little short one way is advantageous, as it means I don't need to cut holes for the airline tube or heater cord. Cutting the plastic piece was pretty easy, I only needed to do one chunk of the very end. Putting the plastic onto the glass was challenging, and I thought for sure I would break the glass while trying to do it. I did eventually get it on without incident though, luckily.
My aquarium is a standard 10 gallon Top Fin.

I was extremely pleased with how quickly the seller shipped my item and the the quality is wonderful. I had an issue and broke one of my canopies and the seller worked with me to allow me to pick up the product directly (they are local to me). They saved the day for me, thank you Pidaz!
