This pillow is firm enough to provide good ergonomic back support, but has enough give to be comfortable on the skin. It is very useful for reading, computer work, or watching TV. I bought mine to serve as a headboard on my guest bed and it works perfectly. My guests could not say enough about how comfortable it was and they plan to order one for themselves.
I chose a pillow with gray velvet fabric. The color is a rich, sophisticated gray and the texture of the fabric looks and feels luxurious. The cover is very well made and I can see that it will hold up to wear.
The pillow spans the entire width of the bed which provides the most usable space and gives the bed refined look.

I had been looking at this for sometime. In the duplex I live in the bed in the master needed to go in front of the window. Not ideal but I was looking for something that would be a barrier between bed and window and I didn't want a headboard. This works great! Gives the bed a "finished" look as well. Seems to be good quality and has some weight to it. I will probably just give it a good spot clean now and then. Probably won't mess with removing the cover. I'm really pleased with this.

Me and my husband love to watch TV in bed, we hate constantly adjusting the pillows behind us to be comfortable. We either sat to high up or were laying down to get comfy. This product changed that, we placed it on our king bed and it helps us get that sweet spot between sitting up straight and laying down ( optimal tv watching position). The pockets seem impractical they are to far behind you to reach and we got a kind so if we snuggle in the middle they are too far to reach.

I went back and forth on whether to order this pillow or one of the others, ultimately I chose this for the velvet and the good reviews. I was worried it wouldn't be firm enough, it is firm enough. I was worried it wouldn't be tall enough, it is. I didn't know if I'd like the color because the pictures are all over the place (thank you fellow reviewers for sharing photos!) the color is a nice deep red and I think the sheen of the fabric makes it look so different in the pictures depending how light hits it. It looks lighter in person than in my photo.
