I was pleased these came in a nice box to store, and the colors were nice. But one has already brokern - it snapped when I was trying to take it off. Also the design is a little unusual and they can get tangled in your hair when you're trying to take them off.

These are really cute, but the larger clips aren't great for fine hair. The smaller clips in the package work well for a half-up look, but the bigger ones are too big for the same look. I'm giving four stars because I can use the bigger ones to completely pull my hair back or I can put my hair in a bun with them. Again, adorable, but you might need a different set if you have fun hair.

I'm really picky about hair clips, I've had too many break in the past. These are great since the claws are straight, which means I can press the claws together to close the clip without breaking the comb teeth. I use the large ones to hold up all of my thick hair and the smaller ones for half-up styles. One star taken off because the pin that keeps both halves connected slides out since it's only flanged on one end. Would still recommend, but would suggest checking it before putting it in your hair each time and make sure to push that pin in all the way first
Edit in March 2023- I have broken two of the larger clips and misplaced the others. They lasted pretty long so I will probably repurchase.

I have super thick hair. And LONG. Anytime someone writes a review and says "these held my THICK hair" I do an eye roll like yeah right "” probably don't even have thick hair. But these do. I will say I like the ones in the box that there are less of. They hold really tight and secure. Although the other style holds, it isn't the same type of secure firm hold. I don't like having the sensation my clip is loosening or slipping around. I like the really right feel. Also with the other clip the way it's shaped for some reason when I do half up half down, it starts to fall out on one side.
Honestly the price paid for just the ones in the box that are smaller is worth it for me.
NOTE *** I only use these clips to hold my hair half up I have not yet attempted to use this clip to hold all of my hair because my hair is SUPER thick and LONG and I have TONS of it.

These are so comfortable and stay in the same position on my head all day. Because the base is the widest part, they don't turn on their side and have the teeth dig into your head like a lot of clips I used. They have a strong spring and feel very durable. Plus, the clips don't break when you drop them which is such a nice change to the clips I get from major hair brands. After wearing it for several hours I do have some of my shorter layers fall out so if you need all day stay and can't readjust it, it might not be great for you. I do have medium-to-thick curly hair so I can't speak for their effectiveness on think/straight hair!
