It’s a great cheap coat rack

I mean, you get what you pay for. It works. It looks cute once assembled. Assembly would have been a cinch, too, were it not for about a third of the holes not being quiiiiiite big enough for the screws and having to sweat and curse and force them in while being careful not to fully strip their heads and leave a jagged mess that could snag delicate fabric. (Fortunately nothing I own that is coatlike is particularly delicate.) Otherwise the instructions were quite clear! Parts are labeled on the plastic packaging.
Base wobbled considerably but unscrewing some of the feet a bit got it steady. Otherwise the construction seems sound and it holds a lot of coats and hats no problem.

This is a wonderful coat & hat rack! It has a sleek elegant profile, and was very easy to assemble, with an individually-labeled transparent sleeve for every component and clear & large (no more peering at tiny indecipherable crude drawings) illustrated instructions. Its red is a great pop of color in my hallway, it has a small footprint, and it's very stable even with many baseball hats & several heavy-duty vests hung on it. Will probably buy another to use for my purses.

I usually only write reviews when I'm unhappy with a product but this coat rack is fantastic. It's incredibly sturdy with a wide base to prevent tipping, but my favorite aspect was the easy assembly. Unlike most self-assembled furniture the pieces come in labeled bags so you don't have to differentiate nearly-identical pieces throughout assembly.
Pros: easy assembly, beautiful color (I got turquoise), extremely sturdy, perfect size
Cons: screws are hard to align and it's easy to put them in wrong [my screwdriver scooped plenty of metal from the drive of the cheap screws but they're still very functional, far from stripped], the metal screws stand out against the color of the coat rack
Overall it's exactly what I'd hoped for and I'm extremely pleased. I would be proud to give this as a gift.

I had this in my cart for a LONG time. All because I was skeptical about if it would tip over if one side happened to be heavier. I tested it out and no tipping over! I've always wanted to coat rack/holder and glad that this purchase did not disappoint. Oh and"¦easy to put together! The only thing missing was a tool to screw in the legs and holders but it wasn't something that would stop anyone from putting it together
