This is a high class live axle kit with disk brake. Nicer than usually used on home made karts. Having a little trouble lining up the break calipers over the disk, but probably will be fixed with some extra mounting hardware and learning how to adjust the gap. Kit does not include the brake pedal.

I really liked that it has almost all the rear-end parts you need. You just need to get some kind of bearings to mount it to your project. Everything is pretty durable. I used it to convert a minibike into a trike. The axle bent a tiny bit, but that's probably because I'm a full-sized adult and I probably put too much load onto it. The brakes work well, but if you prefer a hand-brake I'd suggest that you get a different system. I did. You could probably piece together a better solution with a 1" axle and all the parts, but I like that this kit came with everything. It also arrived really quickly.

So I bought this set to do a conversion 84 CR125 dirtbike (that I got for free w no engine) to a repowered (predator stg1) ATC type ATV... a project with my son, it came fairly quickly and well packed. The quality is fair.
The axle Diameter is not 1" its 7/8th or about 22MM, I fabricated pillow blocks in 1" for the conversion I was doing but I had to re-order 7/8 blocks, the length of the axle is 29 1/8". The sprocket and hub as well as the disc brake seem well manufactured. The axle is splined to fit the hubs for the tiny 4.10x6 tires/rims, as well as the sprocket and hub, and the disc brake and hub. The length of the hydraulic cable from Master cylinder to caliper is 4'7" . This kit comes with everything you would need to replace a Chinese ATV rear end but its going to require a bit more work and fabrication to make it work for my project, this is in no way the fault of the manufacturer and other then the axle diameter its as stated.
