I purchased this item to start shredding blocks of cheese instead of buying the premade stuff at the grocery store. This thing makes the most fluffy shredded cheese ! I grated some dubliner cheese as well and it came out perfect. My only issue is the slicer. I tried to slice up a cucumber and what I got was super thin slices that got stuck in the shredder. Other than that one issue it works amazing. The build quality is excellent and it even comes with a cleaning brush.
