The media could not be loaded. I used this LED GLOW kit to help light my 2021 EZGO 6 Seater golf cart at night when we're driving around. It was a lot of work to install but I'm familiar with the work because I used to install stereo systems and alarms for a living back in the day. The end result is pretty awesome though because it works well and looks great. It will be interesting to see what kind of life span I will get from this kit and how well it holds up to the elements. I guess only time will tell.

Took eight hours to completely install, including adding a 48v to 12v stepdown transformer. A drill is a necessity, and extra zip ties will be needed. I've screwed all the strips down, but the sticky back isn't adhering on one of the strips, so it looks saggy. Biggest complaint is that there are TONS of modes but no way to save your favorites in the remote. If you switch from your standard mode, it takes along time and a lot of clicking to get it back. But it does look cool when complete!

We installed this on our Club Car Onwards, so some of my comments may be specific to that model.

1. The colors look great. I wish there was a better way to control the modes and colors; basically I think I wish I bought the blue tooth option because cycling though so many options is absolutely exhausting as some of them have relatively no discernible difference.
2. I also wish we would have purchased the cheaper kit in that we found the canopy and under dash lights too distracting while driving even when they were in steady mode. Make a mistake and put it into another mode, and you're blinded. I removed these extras (at much internal dilemma given how long it took to install the canopy lights).
2. Installation. We have a six 8 volt battery system. I ended up researching forever whether I could just hook this up to two batteries and whether the system could handle the extra 4 volts, but I couldn't find anything. I didn't want to be a test subject because it is so expensive. I also knew that there was already a reducer somewhere on my cart because of the radio and lights, but then I didn't know whether it would have enough amps. I gave up looking for and testing that as well. Ultimately, I purchased the reducer and just went with that option even though it was yet again more money. In addition to what is in the kit, you will probably need some additional 16 gauge wire, wire brackets (zip ties were nice, but many areas didn't have anything to zip tie to) and lots of patience. Getting the lights mounted is tricky because there is so little room, especially on the Onward, but I managed. I didn't use the zip ties because on the Onward there is no where to Zip tie to. Many areas, nothing solidly to tape to either. So, I used the screws and tape. I don't know that I would trust either option on its own; they feel secure now, though time will tell.

Overall, satisfied with the purchase, though I have regrets on some of the decisions I made. It looks fantastic and is plenty bright (if not hooked up with enough amps, it may not be bright enough). If I had to do it over again, I would pick the cheaper system without the Canopy lights and I would pick a system with better controls and bluetooth.

The media could not be loaded. I had to leave off 1 star because the mounting of these controller boxes didn't have "wings" or screw holes like smaller set I had to mount them with. I'm going to have to trust the adhesive double sided tape to hold under conditions. The remote range is weak - I have my boxes mounted under seat but the previous smaller light set I had was picking up from 10yards or more away these seem to only respond several feet. The lights look great no complaints there but the ability to turn off the canopy lights so they are not on at the same time as lower is a negative but I'm just unplugging those for now. The ability to one long press or something on the buttons to go to solid lights vs flickering in patterns needs to be added....I don't always want to appear like a UFO going down the road. They could improve on this product but I got it for $130 less than advertised so the cons aren't going to stop me from being happy and enjoying them.
