I live in the south, in May at lunch time it can be 90 degrees and the sun makes it hard to get a walk in.
I use the parasol to keep the sun off me while I take a lunchtime walk. It is lightweight, and so easy to use. It comes with it's own storage bag, which doubled for a hand bag at our local steampunk festival.

I got this for my daughter for her birthday and she loves it! It's very pretty and seems to be built sturdy. The material is thick and it folds up small. I'm hoping the frame lasts, as it does fold up.

A little difficult to push open on that last inch before it clicks so not ideal for frail hands and arms.
I like this type of inside out design when folded. All the lace makes it tricky to neatly fold up and close the hook & loop (velcro) strap, but the biggest issue with closing id that the outer arms don't automatically fold up which leaves you a bit of a mess as seen in the picture. Turn it upside down to make this easier to deal with. Much easier to do if you have largish hands. Like most small when folded umbrellas, it can be fiddly to get all of the arms into the handle before it will click in it's closed position.
The cute little carry bag has hook & loop installed to hold the bag closed. Very easy to get the lace caught on this and bulk of the folded umbrella will push the bag open anyway. Best to remove or cover the hook sides.
