Unfortunately it was a bit loud, and the power box warped yesterday and refuses to turn back on. I do believe it's more user error (my son kept turning it on and off until the xbox stopped working) than a deficiency with the quality.
Overall good buy, but now I need a new one.

The sound of the fan is slightly more noticable, but that could also also be because the old fan on the power brick didn't work. Personally, the sound of a small fan doesn't bother me because that lets me know it's working. Either way, the item arrived exactly as intended, and 3 days early on a Sunday even.
