A neighbor had these and just placed them on her stairs so I ordered some for myself. I have an elderly friend whose front walkway is terraced with a small riser so bought some for her. Having these lights, not even permanently placed is a much appreciated safety feature.

The main thing I was worried about was whether these would be too bright or too dim, and I was glad to find that these are neither too glaring, nor too dim; but rather just right. Bought these to replace other outdoor solar lights we purchased a couple of years ago. These are smaller and lower profile - which we like due to the dogs going on and off the patio. These lights are amazing - they stay on all night until the sun comes up. The others we had only worked 5-7 hours. Now, in fairness we live in Dlorida where we get a lot of sunshine. But, they work great!!!
