Back bracket holes does not align with back fixing bar!
Lyra✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 13, 2023
I bought mine as a returned product. It was cheaper of course without the 4 set of screws that need to be attached to the wall. But then again the type of screws they have that would have come along with the package is not pointed or self drilling type of screws either. I would still have to provide myself a screws that can be use to attached to a wall/stud luckily I have them.
There are 2 looks like fiberglass brackets with free drill holes in them. The 2 back holes doesn't align with the back bars. So I have to create the holes on those brackets a little bigger by drilling it again enough to visibly see (using a flashlight) the back bar holes, only then I was able to screw and attached/assembled it together in 1 piece which clearly should have been assembled in 2 minutes if only the holes were align properly.
It was clear that the first buyer didn't want to messed up with re drilling holes in the brackets nor buy another screws than the screws provided.
Other than that ones attached above my door it seems strong and very nice. I don't know if it would last like wood for many years but we will just see.
No replacement parts available after warranty.

Hail strom came though and damaged cover - was advised no replacement parts when out of warranty.
Would not buy again because of this.
Nice for the price. Here are some missing instructions:

It's dirt-cheap. And light-weight, which can be good or bad. I just finished assembling it and here is what the instructions never say and will possibly frustrate you.

1) Yes, the large panes have a plastic sheeting over them. On both sides. Just rub the edge for a moment with the surface of your finger or pick at them with your fingernail and they easily peel right off. They are there to protect it. But you need to remove it prior to assembly.

2) There are actually 2 different cross-members that will eventually screw to the wall. The one I bought has three of these. The one that goes in the center has extra holes drilled into it near the base, underneath. If you assemble it starting with the two without holes...then you will have to take it back apart later like I did! The one with holes must go in the center.

3) The places where you screw in the short screws that are labeled "B" will through the plastic and then screw into the metal bars. On mine, there were no holes drilled for these to go into though. So there is no way to tighten them up. It's silly and won't work. Get a small drill bit and drill a pilot hole into each of those spots. The metal is very easy to drill through. Then you can fully screw these in and hold the thing in place.

4) When you get frustrated, just remember that you didn't pay much for this contraption so it really shouldn't surprise you that it is constructed that well and has crummy instructions.

5) I fully assembled mine prior to installing on the wall. I have not hung it yet and hope to do so soon. But because of the size of it, you will definitely want 2 people involved. And a couple ladders.

Good luck and enjoy!

Good luck!
Product really looks great 👍

The product itself is great, the quality is unknown right now. The assembly is a pain in the a**.
Decent

I would have rather the bars that hold up the awning be metal instead of plastic and the bolts could've been longer but in the end we got it up and it seems to be sturdy.
