Wow! I LOVE how these pieces turned out! When opening the box, all of the pieces felt a bit overwhelming, but everything was packaged (and delivered) well... the box had a little damage, but the pieces were unharmed. The directions were very detailed and the pictures really explained everything so it was easy to understand. It definitely takes time to build, though... The first one took about 2 hours with one other person helping me. I could have built it alone but it's much easier to have one person there for help. The second was a lot faster and easier, of course, but I think it still took about 1-1.5 hours to build. I am SO impressed with this piece of furniture. It's heavy and sturdy. Both of the pieces turned out EXACTLY the same! They weren't wobbly... one isn't slightly higher than the other... it's not tilted... no pieces missing. They're beautiful sitting next to each other. I had to turn them out (back to back) because of the bump on my floor... they do need a flat surface to sit on. I can't wait to use them for garbage and recycling. I hope they last forever... I think they will with care. The drawer is maaaybe the only thing that could possibly use some adjusting. It pulls out nicely. It has a soft close, which I like. However, you do need to push it in with a little force to close it ALL the way. Doesn't bother me at all. There were a few scuffs/marks on the wood, but Goo Gone did it's magic, and took them away, almost entirely. I'll be adding a tiny pad inside, on each side where the metal nobs are, where the garbage pulls out and stops/catches, to avoid wear and tear over time to the wood. I'd also love the top to be offered in the natural wood color with the pull out cutting board that some other companies offer, but... maybe it's better white and... why mess with a great thing?! The height is perfect for many uses. I will be receiving the recommended garbage bins in a couple days, but I expect them to fit well... and they hold 13 gallons, unlike the others I've seen, which hold 10 gallons (too small). Well priced at about 160, plus tax... Completely worth it. I am SO happy with this purchase!

First of all, directions aren't the best - just adequate. Next, there are supposed ro be 4 holes for the Allen screws for the trash door bak piece so you can attach to the triangle braces. Mine came with 1 hole drilled for the screw and the other 3 that are needed are just tiny little pin holes! Now I have to go buy a drill so I can drill out the holes!
Lastly, the drawer - directions don't show how the 2 metal "tracks" are supposed to come apart or even that they should! I had to go find a YouTube video that someone was kind enough to post to show how to do that. But then you are at the mercy of whoever drilled the hokes for that - mine is way off, the drawer is skewed and you have to beat on it to shut it so it's useless!! If it wouldn't be such a pain to take it all apart and try to figure out how to repack it, I would send it back! Now I'm stuck with expensive firewood!!!

This trash container matches our cabinets and blends in with our kitchen. You don't see a trash can when you walk into the front door,

I got this because my dog figured out how to open my trashcan lid. This is more secure and easy to put together and use. I also like being able to store clean trash bags in the drawer above the trash can. I do wish it came with a trash can that fits inside of it, but it was easy to purchase one. It was just an extra trip to the store that I try to avoid doing by shopping on Amazon.

I am not one who usually writes reviews, but I really love the look of this tilt out trash cylinder. I do depend on these reviews myself, and since this is a pretty important purchase I wanted to write this review hopefully to help others. There were some stumbling blocks with this item, but we ( actually my husband) was able to fix the those issues that others also commented on and we found to be true.

When we opened the box everything was packaged nicely and numbered. Instructions were pretty good, really just pictures and that was fine. From start to finish, unpack-aging, checking the parts, briefly going over the manual, to finish about 90 minutes. Not bad.

The drawer install. when we were done, the drawer did not close all the way. He found his mistake and made some minor adjustments, and now the drawer does close completely. I would just say be careful here, I am not sure how he corrected it but it took only a few minutes to do so.

We put the piece together in our living room, with a sheet on the floor. I saw reviews which say the piece was wobbly after completion, I must say this really concerned me. so i pushed on it when we were in the living room, and it was fine, thank goodness. However when we moved it into the kitchen and i tested it again, it was wobbly! My heart just sank. Come to find out that it was the floor in the kitchen, So my husband shimmed the 4 corners under the bottom of the cylinder with these little buttons that you can by at any home or hardware store. You would probably find them in the aisle with the protectors you place under furniture to protect your floor. That is one of the pics i took where you can see the little button at the corner.

Another issue. the door to the cylinder slams upon closing. Again, he used some felt that he stuck on where it closes, this solved the slamming problem it now closes softly.

So these issues were pretty easily solved and you probably have these items already on hand, but if you don't they are quite easy to find in the store.

I love the look of this bin, it really is pretty and roomy holds a 13 gallon container with ease. even my son comment on how nice looking it is.
PS, it does have a strong smell when it arrives and you take it out of the box, but this dissipated very quickly.

All in all I love my container, and the material used will be easy to clean, which is really important when it is sitting in your kitchen. Enjoy!
