Solid treatment, must use consistently

This is a solid product. I did notice that when my skin would dry and I'd skip a day or start going every other day I'd get really oily. Otherwise, as long as I was consistent with my routine (this gel, moisturizer, anti-aging) it worked well! In comparison to a cheaper product though, I notice the CVS Health Acne Treatment Cream works better for like half the price.

While ordering this, I originally sent it back. When I uncapped the tube, there was not a cover over the product. But the second product came the same way. But other than that, it is good! Doesn't smell!
Differin over Tretinoin

Tretinoin will bring mountains of sebum and clogging to the surface of my face, sure. But it also contains a pore-clogging ingredient. The reason I started using any form of retinoid was to unclog my pores, so I didn't want to use Tretinoin. I've been using Differin once a week and then following up with gentle, hydrating skincare, and I much prefer it so far.
Actives schedule that works for me right now:
Day 1- Needly toner pads (0.5% BHA + some PHA I believe)
Day 2- hydration only
Day 3- Differin gel on troubled spots (I know you should use this all over but I refuse to for as long as possible)
Day 4- Mandelic acid and hydration
Day 5- Hydration
Day 6- Mandelic acid and hydration
Day 7- Hydration

Love Differin! It's worked for me for a long time. However stop catfishing with the size of the box. It's a waste of material and energy. Sure, someone might buy it because it looks like a lot. But don't y'all think people will like feeling scammed when they open the box and the product is at most half to a third of the box size? And I know that bottle has a false bottom as well, with less product than it looks like in there as well. All this packaging for 1.6oz (~3 tablespoons) of product, honestly.
