Update:
A second package was delivered the next day. It was complete (battery and various tools).
1. I successfully replaced the old battery with instructions and tools provided.
2. Battery already had a charge at 80%.
I now revise my review to 4 stars. The one missing is for poor quality control (original used set sent to me as new).

My poor old iphone4 lives again. My battery was not holding any type of charge at all. I ordered this replacement in hopes of reviving my relic. I looked on youtube for video instructions and was able to change it out in a matter of minutes. Sooooo easy! It came with about 25% charge on it so it would have been ready to use immediately. I went ahead and just let it charge overnight. In the morning it had a 97% charge - not 100%. After turning it on it charged the final 3% but I do find that I have to charge it more often than an original battery. All I know is that my phone works again and I am extremely happy. I would definitely recommend this item.
