They're cute - they're thinnish (not too bad - to be expected at this price range). They are the perfect length for my daughter (we ordered 4-5T and she turns 5 on Dec. 30th - she's 3ft 7)... but b/c they are the perfect length I wish I had ordered one size up so she could wear them longer .. she's very tall though so just use her height to choose for yourself. My daughter is thin and there is a lot of elastic on these so they fit fine and I think that we definitely could have sized up b/c there's enough elastic I think the next size up wouldn't have been too big for her waist. The elastic band is very... elasticy.. and obvious.. so you won't be tucking anything into these. All in all, they're cute, she likes them and they came exactly as described with no cosmetic issues.
