My original purchase was for Thursday's Boot Company Scout Men's Chukka Boot in brown. I read online that you should order your regular size that they're the "Perfect Fit" so I ordered an 11. When they arrived they seemed clownishly big. The boots themselves looked great but when I tried them on they were way too big, the leather was very stiff and the tongue pressed very uncomfortably on the top of my foot/ankle, and the polish seemed to scuff by just tying the laces. I did not trust myself to get the brown pair in the correct size fearing they would scuff easily.

So I returned them and ordered the Safari - Rugged & Resilient colorway in a size 10. I figured if the previous pair was so big I should order a size down. The new pair came in and they were true to size. I did not fit in the size 10. So then I ordered a 10.5 these were almost the perfect size but my toes felt a little squeezed in the toe box .

Final pair. I reordered the size 11's and again they were true to size, a perfect fit. Nothing felt cramped or confined, no pressure from the tongue or on my ankles. It has a classic style and fit and seem to constructed well. I love the distressed look and the leather smells great.

I will take pictures of the shoes in their natural condition and how they'll look with a leather wax to protect them from the elements.

I could only guess that the 1st pair in brown sent to me must have been the wrong size or a freak pair that was just too big.

I'm glad I took the time to go through 4 pairs because these shoes are truly comfortable and will be enjoyed for years to come.

Fits as sized. Comfortable good looking footwear.

They are breaking in quickly. I bought a pair of president limited editions that I love so I tried these, but I wish they were burnt on the tips like the picture showed when I bought the pres. I ended up doing it myself.

The chuckas I bought for work, I fly. I was worried they'd be too heavy and feel limiting on the pedals but they work well. The thing that I don't like is the trim on the soles around the front just isn't symmetrical on 1 boot with a bit of a lip. I expect them to be perfect.

A little bit pricey but it was a very good shoe fits well very well constructed thank you very much
