Some of you folks were naysayers, but yes, it worked just fine. Had a gap open up on a 1/2 sized end piece of 8x16, so stuck one cup on it, hammered on the end, and pulled that sucker back together. No worries whatsoever. Was half figuring it wouldn't grip, but it was great.
Used for flooring!

Last spring I tried something like this to fix gaps in our plank flooring (with texture), and it tools us 2 days to tighten up 3 rows.
I ordered this last night without high hopes and it worked like a charm! 15 min later done with All three rows. Just this and a rubber mallet. It's metal, not plastic, so it held up the the force and the suction was amazing!

I had to remove a 42" x 72" plate glass mirror from a wall above a double vanity as part of a bathroom makeover. I was worried that the mirror would break or that we'd drop it while lifting it out of the mounting and working it out from between two side walls. I decided to buy these suction cups to make the job easier. So glad I did! These things grip like iron and made the job not only easier, but a hell of a lot safer. Definitely a great tool to have, and I consider it money well spent.

This is a well built product. It was purchased to remove a heavy oversized sliding door for roller repairs. The product performed well, no issues at all. Great product, good price. The repair job, however, was a bit more complicated. The mounting recess for the new rollers was compromised, could not install the new hardware. Luckily the door was reversible so I spun it around, inserted new rollers, removed the handle which was broken anyway, and reinstalled the door. Until I order the insanely expensive handle my wife chose, this product is multi-tasking as my temporary handle, hence the picture. Highly recommend!
