The media could not be loaded. Works great. Have lots of compliments from my customers doing Uber and Lyft. Had an issue with the fuse burning out in 2 months. Product comes in a kit of 4 pieces. The tubing which slides into cracks of door and dashboard. The fiber optic line, both fiber optic need to be trimmed to
fit. Make sure to leave extra room on fiber optic line to attached to the 5 cables which have the sound indicator box attached, that is then plugged into power adapter that plugs into you lighter port. There are tiny screws where you place the fiber optic line into and screw down to secure.

This product did not come with a lot of instruction at all. I did manage to put all mine in without taking off door panels, and hiding cords between and under seats and dashboard. The remote, sometimes you have to click it a couple times for it to register. No big deal.

Had issue with the fuse popping after 2 months, they use a 3.5 amp which didnt last very long. I didnt know this so, emailed company about sending me a new plug that goes into cigarette lighter. They replied back super fast very friendly emails. Received in the mail 2 weeks later a whole new kit. My bf did manage to explain how a lighter adapter worked and I got new fuse 5amp put in and it works fantastic. I will be using new kit though because too much knocking of one light on drivers side (which is a placement issue not quality) that has killed the red. So instead of full range in that line, I only have blue and green combos. I have a video on YouTube that shows the placement and how the sound works with them. I will place it here since it was demonitized anyway.

The media could not be loaded. I had purchased these lights because I wanted an imitation of what it is to be inside a Mercedes-Benz.. but I love Lexus. So, I bought one of these kits!

Let me just say that the kit came well-packaged, with instructions and everything was bundled up neatly. Nothing was missing.

If you want a clean factory-look job, it's gonna take you two hours per door to do on a 1998 Lexus LS400 like I have. The side-shine optical tube is SUPER FRAGILE, do NOT crease it!! Why? The light won't pass through cracks. No, It didn't happen to me. It almost felt like a very soft acrylic in my hands so I was very careful during installation. Feeding the tube into the plastic holder was a little hard, so I found blowing into it made it a little easier with the condensation. To get rid of excess moisture, leave a dehumidifier in your car by damp rid. It will dry everything up. I used scissors to cut the optical cable and I used a drill to drill a hole into the door panel to gain access to the LED inside.

The LED's are very bright, and if you unscrew the heat sink, there's a projector lens inside. Make sure you tighten the heat sinks very well before installing inside your door panel. They don't get hot at night but I'm not sure how they'd react on a hot day, so don't leave it against anything flammable inside the door panel. You will need zip ties, the little 4 inch ones should be sufficient to tidy up the cables and secure the LED on the door panel. Do not over tighten the optical cable screw or it'll crack the tube. When you feel resistance, stop.

There was nothing to adhere on any surface, however since the tube is making leather on leather squeeze points, I might add some 3M tape to secure it as opening and closing the door can potentially loosen the assembly.

All in all, they look great at night especially when they accompany my footwell lights and give a different vibe in the car. I'll update once I install the other 3 doors and wherever else I decide the 5th LED will go.

the product itself is 5 stars. It is/does exactly what it is designed to do. My reason for 4 stars is based on the install in my vehicle. On some sections of the dash, gauge cluster, head unit display and climate control, the lack of trim tightness in combination with hard corners made it difficult for the tubing to stay "adhered".

HOWEVER, this review is vehicle specific. I had to reduce my ambitions and i am very pleased with the final product. very appropriate amount of brightness to add charm and not be distracting. the mic for the music mode seems very sensitive but i am sure this is due to its proximity to speakers.

I also measured incorrectly when cutting the tube sleeve and fiber optic cable. I contacted the seller and within a day they responded and offered to provide me with additional materials as a gift. I highly recommend this product from this seller.

I put this in a few days ago. I had previous fiber optics in my door panels (BMW car) so I attached the new heads to the old fiber optic tube. Shines brighter than the original and now isn't just one color. Since I had all the tube left I decided for the fifth optic head I would do around the dash. Well the gaps in my dash were too big, so I decided I'd go all the way around the top of the car, where the headliner meets the sides. I wasnt sure if itd work bcuz of all the bends. The hardest part was honestly shoving all the tube through the outer tube. Wish that came predone. So I popped it in place and turned on the lights, SOOO impressed! The lights are super bright and it even shines all the way around the ceiling of my car. It's of course dimmer on the opposite side but I'm so impressed it even shined all the way. I only have a few complaints and they're more like suggestions. The music settings work awesome but the mic is pretty sensitive, it picks up road noise too. And you cant dim the lights on music setting or speed up or slow down the fades or jumps. A lot of led strings you can. I also wish it could flash on the solid colors. But honestly the settings all work great. The power wire to the box could be a little longer and maybe the wires themselves. I did run my wires inside the dash to get the the opposite side but it was a straight shot so the wires are a little short for the "small" distance. The back wires were plenty long.

U gotta shove em into the little crevices of ur ca and tape some and it falls don't do u gotta retake and uhhh it was cute at first then got annoying and I ripped it off "¦ but it does what it's supposed to so
