The opening action of this Hand Ascender was a little different to open compared to my Left handed Petzl. But now that I have used it , I wouldn't trade it for any other. It's built and designed very well. Also, I am Enjoying the 2-1 pull it gives me (while using the built-in-pulley) I use it for DRT and SRT uses. Absolutely perfect design!
