We have a modular closet system we had purchased and installed in one of our bedrooms from Lowe's about 20 years ago. The plastic brackets holding the clothes rods started breaking. These metal brackets fit perfectly. They are very sturdy. We only needed two, but the I could only find packs of 4 on Amazon, so now I have two more as future replacements, but I'm pretty sure these are not going to break. The modular system should have provided metal bracket to begin with.
