The media could not be loaded. The sound is not from this humidifier. That's my daughter's space heater. We have it set up high so that the tube doesn't fill with water and turn off. We also have it on a timer and used a little bread tie to help keep it where we wanted it. Snake loves it and so do the live plants. We have to refill the tank every few days with the timer settings we have it on.
Good control of humidity levels, poorly designed for keeping water inside when filling

I actually quite like this humidifier, but my partner doesn't. My partner is usually the one filling it up with water for me because I have way too many plants and way too many humidifiers and he's supportive, the sweet soul. He hates it because it doesn't have a valve on the bottom that seals in to hold water while you're carrying the tank. You have to hold the tank upside-down. It spills a bit every time you flip it over to put it back. It's messy, thus he is annoyed.
That said, I like that I can turn the humidity level way down so that it takes longer to empty. Most of my humidifiers empty so fast and it doesn't make a huge difference to lower the strength. The long hose is also nice - I leave the tank on the floor, then run the hose up to whatever plant needs it.
I'd get this thing again, but my spouse wouldn't be happy about it.

Great product if used correctly (read if fog stops producing)

The media could not be loaded. This fogger is awesome!!!! It produces a great amount of fog while immediately raising my humidity. I use it in addition with a mister in my dart frog tank.
PLEASE READ: After some trial and error, I've learned the correct way to make sure your fogger doesnt stop producing fog. It's an easy fix. Make sure your hose is straight up and down (minus the end where you have to curve your hose end for your tank) and use the smallest amount of extension of the hose. This makes sure that any water accumulation drips back down into the water reservoir instead of getting built up in your hose and in return, stops it from producing fog and making you emptying the hose every 30 min causing water leakage. And that's it!!! If your hose is at an incline, it will stop working.
Another tip is to connect your machine to a timer where you can adjust the on and off settings since this machine does not have a built in timer. This helps if you want to have it on for 10 minutes every hour or whatever is needed to keep your humidity up. The water in your fogger lasts much longer than leaving the machine on all the time. Common sense.
Overall, good product for the cost. Just make sure you have your hose straight up and down to work correctly.
Video: this short clip is the setting on low and just turned on so not alot of fog has accumulated yet. Just to give you an idea. Looks way cooler after a couple minutes of run time!! â¤â¤ðŸ¤'ðŸ¤'

Only worked for 5 months but seller replaced.

Worked really good at first then just stopped working one day. I only used distilled water in it as recommended and kept it clean. The warranty is only 3 months, which I wished I would have payed closer attention to. I contacted Betazooer, they just said, sorry you are past your warranty, we hope you will buy another one! I don't think so. Also, I didnt really notice much difference using the control knob, didn't see much of a change in output at all. There were not any instructions, although it wasn't hard to figure out. Overall, I wouldn't recommend.
UPDATE: Seller ended up sending a new unit even though it was out of warranty. We will see how well the next one works and I will update.

i bought this humidifier for my blue tongue skink enclosure after our old one broke. i'm pretty impressed by it so far and i really like the adjustability of it. the only thing i would say is to be careful about how you place the tubing in the enclosure because the humidifier will stop working/get clogged if there is too much water build up due to poor tube placement.
overall, it is one of the cheapest options i have found for a reptile humidifier and gets the job done.
