We have a refrigerator in the garage that we use for "back up". When the kitchen refrigerator had a problem we plugged in the one in the garage and transferred all of the food until the kitchen one got fixed. Well, my son comes home from school and unplugs the extension cord so he can use his microwave. Never wondering why the extension cord was there to begin with three days later when we go to return the food the kitchen, everything was rancid. Including 5#'s of hamburger that had leaked everywhere. I tried to clean it twice but it still had a smell. I put one of these in the reefer side and one in the freezer while leaving it running. Not sure whether this purely depends on the source of the odor, it worked like a charm on my refrigerator. I put down the 6 months date on the unit and throw them out on time. It surely makes a difference (not necessarily saying removes all odor).

Not sure what makes it work, but it does really really well to help dissipate some of the stinkiest cat poos. We have cats that choose not to cover their poo sometimes and one of these deodorizers just put on top of their litter box really helps clear out the smell. The bathroom used to be a major biohazard to the point I stopped using that one, but now aside from fresh poos, you don't even notice the smell

I was on the fence about ordering these initially. I have a fridge in the garage for things that contain garlic or onion or anything thats pungent. It was strong and I had my doubts, I wanted a set for my inside fridge and freezer as well so I purchased 4. I will never buy baking soda again! I am convinced this is the best product ever! I only hope it last as long as the company says. It's a magic odor Ninja in that little plastic box! Awesome !! Within 8 hours my worst smelling freezer was totally odorless! I'm still amazed!
