Bought it worked ab one week if I'm lucky got about 7 hrs of use out of it then the buttons melted away barley ever got warm wouldn't buy unless u like playing lotto tickets and waisting money

I looooooove this blanket! It's not very thick, but because it is heated, it doesn't need to be. It is very soft and comfortable, and it is longer than a lot of heated throws.
This blanket has three settings, although I believe the high setting would be a bit too much. I have Fibromyalgia, which is aggravated when I'm cold. Medium is great for colder days, but the low setting works well for "everyday" use. It automatically turns off after about half an hour, which is great in case you forget to turn it off yourself.
I would definitely recommend this blanket if you are chronically cold or want something extra to take the chill off during the cold weather months. Yes, as noted in other reviews, you can feel that the wires are in the blanket when you cover yourself, although I usually forget about them after a while. If you're just looking for a regular throw blanket, you might be happier with a thicker non-heated throw to avoid the wires.

I bought this heated blanket four years ago for $60 and it is still going strong. I have washed it in the washing machine at least every month, and I air dry it. I looked up this blanket in my Amazon orders to see how old it is and I was surprised I've had it for 4 years. If this thing ever dies I will replace it with another beautyrest because I've never had a heated blanket last this long before, to me it is worth the extra $10-$20 compared to the heated blankets at Walmart.

I wanted a warm blanket for my recliner and this Beautyrest faux fur electric throw met my expectations. I have purchased faux fur blankets before that shed all over everything, but not this one. I even ran it through a "hand wash" cycle on my front-load washer and after allowing it to dry, there was no noticeable shedding. The blanket is wonderfully soft and is chocolate brown on both sides. I previously had an electric throw with white Sherpa on one side and it was impossible to get it completely clean. Most of the electric throws I found had Sherpa on one side, so I was glad to find this one. It gets nicely warm even on the "low" setting. I can't quite give it five stars because the controller only allows the blanket to be on for two hours at a time. IMO, it should be at least double that. Otherwise, the controller is easy to use and does not get hot as one reviewer reported. My previous heated throw from Sunbeam stopped working after a couple of seasons. I hope this Beautyrest is more durable.

This blanket has been used for warming up while vegging in the living room with the dogs. It was originally purchased for me to use to stay warm at night. I get cold easy and need a blanket to keep me warm all night.
This blanket is lightweight, super soft, and the heat controls are just right. I used it on the bed by covering it with another blanket to hold the heat in. MY ONLY (MINOR) piece of advice to anyone wanting to buy this: it's SO SOFT, that it literally will slide off of you while you're sleeping. Even if there's a blanket on top. Within 5 minutes it'll slide to the floor! The blanket is awesome and is a great product. However....I now use it as a lap blanket because it's easier. It really is worth the money, thought.
