Good Torque, a bit more than 10rpm
Daniel J Brown✓ Verified Purchase•October 8, 2023
This motor worked well as an awning motor. The only issue I had was that the motor spun faster than 10rpm which messed with my timing for the python script that controlled the motor.
Restored my Projector Screen

Really quiet
Peggy Ramsey✓ Verified Purchase•September 14, 2023
Super quiet and strong little thing. Used as rocker motor for home made egg incubator.
Motor is installed with a 2:1 reduction by use of #25 chain and sprockets to reduce rocking speed while doubling overall torque output with the 1rpm motor. Incubator holds up to 48 dozen chicken eggs and this little motor rocks them 35 degrees from one side to the other (70 degrees travel) with no problem, strong little motor. It cannot be heard running inside the incubator cabinet even with the door open, it is super quiet. 9 months use on the incubator now, motor has been fully loaded for weeks at a time and no issues with the motor which rocks egg trays from one side to the other every 2 hours. Wiring was no problem, husband said hot leg goes in the middle hole and neutral to top hole or bottom hole depending on which direction you want it to turn. Husband said he also ran a frame/case ground for safety. As a large cabinet incubator rocker motor it's doing the job wonderfully.

Gets the job done, is beefy.

Runs very hot and is quite loud, but it gets the job done. Note, the mounting bracket Amazon advertised with it does not fit perfectly. holes don't exactly line up and the bolts are different thread. The motor speed controller Amazon advertises with it doesn't help either. these are not speed controllable.
Motor is intermittent duty only.

7/4/2021 Ran for 30 minutes, lightly loaded, 72 degrees ambient and motor temp raised to 120 degrees. I would not trust the windings to withstand prolonged duty since the winding insulation is not listed.
Motor mounts are 2" on center and shaft diameter is 5/16".
Great motor for intermittent use, but as a barbecue rotisserie? Definitely a no for me.
Any one else have a different experience?
Update 8/27/2021 Ran for 1.25 hours. Motor burned out! Need to order another as I cannot find specs with continuous run ability.
