These are really cute little animals. We bought these for my 3 year old as a Christmas present. They come packaged in a taped-shut cardboard box, and I initially thought the package was damaged or had previously been opened because the top of the box was bent. It seems like all the animals were just shoved into the box, but nothing inside had any damage as far as I could tell.
The animals are really cute. There are some bigger ones (about 4 inches long) and some really small ones (about an inch long). There's also quite a bit of variety. My kids have liked playing with them, lining them up, etc. I'm not sure how safe the coloring/paint on them are for kids who tend to put things in their mouth. My kids are mostly past that stage so it's not a big concern for me, but I do think that the paint could potentially chip off over time if your kids like chewing on these kinds of toys.

The farm animals are cute and durable. The smaller ones are very sharp, so I ended up throwing those out. I've been using the cow, horse, pig, and the duck to teach my baby animal sounds and to use with her books.
