Not quite the look I want

I'm going to return this. That's why I really don't like buying clothes on Amazon. I rather try these on in a store. Especially jackets. I have never worn a jacket vest before. But this one to me just looks like a jacket with no arms. I'm 5'10 and 160. The length of this comes to almost the bottom of my back pocket. And it flares out too much below my chest. The model in the pic shows the jacket terminating at the top of the back pocket but on me it's almost to the bottom of my back pocket. No way to cinch it closer to my stomach. Feels like I'm wearing a krinkly bag. Not much of a puffer either. I'm not going to rate below a 4 though. It's just ok but not for me.
As mentioned, zipper is on wrong side.

Came vacuumed packed. Waited for it to recover it's loft. Didn't so I put it in the dryer on air dry with a couple of dryer balls. That helped some but, they are not thick by any means. Not a winter vest. May have 1/2" of batting inside. OK to about 50 degrees. If you are looking for warm, keep looking elsewhere.
