I bought two of these and after a month of use, they still are puffy and have retained their shape. The 3-foot bag is plenty big enough for our 75-pound kids, who use these in all sorts of positions. I occasionally turn and fluff the bag, and it hasn't compressed. At this point I have no need for extra fill because it's still huge. It's true that the more weight you put on the bag, the closer to the floor you will be. It generally seems the lighter the user, the more they like this thing.
