Christmas morning and my son just opened this. It can turn, it can lift its bucket to dump, but when you hit the controller to make it go forward or backward nothing happens. After about two minutes it stopped doing anything at all.

Our neighbors son turned 3 and he loves this gift! He loves all things cars and trucks and spends a lot of time navigating this through beans, sand, small rocks, and occasional random small objects. Keeps him entertained, easy for him to use. His parents love it. Uses 5 batteries. Not unbreakable but seems to hold up well. I would buy again!

- Battery hog. Main device has an on off switch if you're mindful, but the main controller seems to drain regardless. Bought a rechargeable battery system to combat this, but it's an issue I don't expect to resolve soon, whether its this or another toy.
- Multiple inputs are disregarded. If you want to steer while driving forward, tough luck. Good for teaching toddlers autonomous motion, but potentially counterintuitive.

3 Very Disappointed Grandsons !

I bought this truck for my 3 grandsons to play with. I got my order in 2 days. I wanted to test it before I let them play with it. I ran it for about 10 minutes that night. Since the boys would be coming to my house the next day, I tested it again . It was DEAD . I tried replacing the batteries { Duracell } , made sure they were properly installed, and tried it again. Again, NO RESPONSE. You should have seen the looks on their faces when they walked thru the front door. I showed them the truck. We tried again to make it go. NO RESPONSE. Since the box with any return information on how to send it back was not available, I not only lost my $30, But , more importantly, The sad looks on my 3 grandsons' faces. I would hope that Amazon responds to my request of replacing the truck, so I can continue as a satisfied customer. I have placed approximately 25 orders over the past 3 years, and this is the ONLY problem I have had.Feb.15- my issues have been resolved. My replacement truck shipped the DAY AFTER my complaint was registered. THANK YOU !!

We have been very impressed with this truck so far. It was for my 3 year old for his birthday, and he has had a ton of fun loading it up and using the remote to make the bed of the truck go up and dump everything out. The controls are nice and simple and work well. The most impressive feature is that the truck drives very well on carpet! Our carpet is not shaggy or anything, but we have had other RC cars and trucks that have had trouble going over it. This toy doesn't have that problem, and it makes is useable throughout the house!
