Everything fit perfectly except the sash/belt around the waist. The person that wore it doesn't have an extra large waist. The belt could be made just a little bit longer. She could have worn it but you would have seen the Velcro.

I was a little too late to get this for Halloween, but I decided to get it anyway in time to serve as the Jedi host for my son's birthday party. I am 5'7" and weigh 195 pounds (I know, I know--I could stand to lose a few!), but the costume fit perfectly. The robe definitely has the movie look even though it is not made of particularly heavy fabric (definitely not see-through, though). The hood is large and drapes nicely, and the robe on me drags the floor by only an inch or so.

As expected, the inner tunic is made of bedsheet-thin fabric. Interestingly, my costume included two of these"”I'm not sure if this was a mistake or not"”and one had a bit of what appeared to be mud splashed on it (this was easily removed with a wet cloth). The pants are also made of fabric that is on the thin side, but there were no tears and the stitching seemed solid. The waistband is partially elastic, and so can accommodate a variety of waistlines (I needed a belt, even with my 37"-38" waist).

The best part of the costume was the tan outer tunic. It is made of a thicker linen-like fabric, and really gives the costume an authentic look. The tabards--made of the same material--just drape over your shoulders. They stayed in place when the obi and belt were tightened properly, but some folks may want to use velcro or safety pins to hold them in place. Both the obi and belt attach with velcro--given my current weight, they also fit well. If you are extremely fit and/or svelte, you may need to attach more velcro so that you can tighten them to fit your waist. As a bonus, the belt included a single pouch in matching brown "leather" and so adding my cell phone case will actually add to the look.

Overall, the quality is very good. If I wanted to be really picky, I could take off a star for a few loose strings here and there on the robe. Both my wife and son, however, had eyes and mouths open in amazement at how good this costume looked on me, so 5 stars are definitely warranted.

Overall I am happy with the purchase. The material is thick, of good quality, and comfortable. My only issue that keeps it from being five stars is that the darker "shirt" pictured underneath the tunic is either not included or was missed when packaging my order.

My husband has always wanted a legit looking Jedi costume, but never wants to spend the money on himself. I finally convinced him to buy this one since the cost was reasonable and the reviews were positive. When the outfit arrived he tried it on immediately and everything fit. I did size up when I ordered just in case I needed to tailor certain parts but since it has a belt, it holds in any extra fabric. Speaking of fabric, it was better quality than we expected, and was thick enough to keep warm outside. He wore the costume while trick or treating with our kids and had a fun comfortable time.

This costume was so much nicer than I expected. I wore it around town on Halloween and got tons of comments and compliments, even from pretty hardcore Star Wars fans. I did add a few accessories to complete the look (like a lightsaber belt hook which held a realistic lightsaber hilt, a pair of boots that I also found here on Amazon, the brown Jedi robe, etc) but even the costume by itself is very realistic looking to the movies and much higher quality than any other costume I've ever had in the past. I highly recommend it!

Regarding fit, I am 5'11, 180 pounds and the large fit well. My only complaint is the cloth belt that goes under the leather belt seemed to be one size too small and was at the far end of the velcro straps. Try it on right away to see if you need to modify that. Also, I washed the costume on cold and dried it before washing which got ride of all of the wrinkles and got rid of many little random strings and things that were attached. Enjoy the costume!
