Best Little Device for the Wallet and Streaming!

I'm a retired CFO and IT guy who never took NO for an answer. So when they said "Good Luck Finding Something For My Needs", off I went...
As you can see in the first pic, my fireplace with the TV on it has no soundbar. I did not want to lock myself into anything that I would eventually change out down the road which would leave unwanted holes in the wood under the TV. I wasn't upset about the TV since the TV mount could be used for nearly any size TV.
I wanted my soundbar to be able to be placed anywhere I wanted in the living room. After experimenting with several devices, Avantree proved to be the best overall. Granted, at first I had my 10 year old 55" 3D Toshiba LCD TV on the wall of which I was getting up near a 1/2 second sound delay. Obviously I thought it was just the nature of the beast and shrugged it off as it mostly only happened with live TV. Since I mostly watched streaming video, this delay never impacted my entertainment of watching. After receiving, however, a Sony Bravia TV of only 2 to 3 years old, this delay nearly disappeared altogether in live TV.
Okay - so on to the next chapter of my project; I have recessed lighting throughout my living room and adjoining kitchen. I wanted to take advantage of them and add a few recessed speakers or even speaker/lights, although I'm leaning towards just speakers alone for many reasons I won't go into here. I already know this TC417 Avantree has the ability of pairing two devices simultaneously, so I once again set off to start on this project. I started by inquiring of these BT speaker companies whether or not they would work with this device. If they responded at all, their answer was a simple, "NO", of which I won't go into. I was getting very disappointed.
Brain Spurt!! Why not ask Avantree who they recommend??? I set off emailing them and to my surprise, not only did they answer me immediately, they helped me decide what to do during the exchange of several emails over several days, VERY impressive!! Their solution? Buy another TC417, (which I was heading towards), and put it in RX (receiving mode) and attach it to any speaker set I want.
Does this work as of this writing, perhaps, who knows. I'm certain it will and I will follow up when I complete this project which may take some time as I won't get to it for several months. However, I was just so impressed with this company I simply had to write it up and let people know how great this device is currently working for me, and how great customer service is. For the money, you simply cannot go wrong!!
I'll follow up once I get my recessed system working. Thank you for reading and hope you have as much fun with this device as I do.

My husband and I live in an RV and when it is raining ourside or the air conditioner is running on full blast it is very dificult to hear the TV. This divice allows both of us to conect our headphones and gives us perfect sound every time. I can even control the volume level with my Airpods Pro 2nd gen (this only controls the volume on my airpods and does not control the volume on my husbands headphone).
This has more uses than you realize

What a great little product. Battery powered. Receive and transmit. There's so much you could actually do with this device it is mind-bending. For the small price you cannot go wrong. It comes with all the cables that you could need including The optical cable. There's definitely no regret on this purchase I get that some people may not need the battery powered option but once you have it all it just changes everything that you have in your ability. I could go on about all the options that you could have using this device, I mean geez literally you could take an old boombox hook this up to it and have no power requirements because your boombox would be powered on batteries and this is powered on batteries and you'll be able to Bluetooth to it easily. Sure this may not be exactly what you're trying to do but what I'm saying is it opens the door for a lot of possibilities and it works well.
Good but not perfect

Great: Easy pairing, great reception, decent sound. Not so great: low volume, doesn't stay on when bluetooth connection is cut off.
Excellent to play music on 4 True Wireless Stereo Bluetooth speakers!

I will write a review of this device for a very specific use and because I hope it may help someone else since before buying it nobody was able to confirm if my setup would work or not with this device.
I bought this transmitter to connect 2 pairs of Bluetooth speakers that can play in TWS (True Wireless Stereo) since my idea was to install 4 Bluetooth speakers embedded in my walls in my living room to play music or watch movies with a completely cable free setup and a nice stereo sound. With TWS you have 2 Bluetooth speakers that pair between each other and one play the left audio channel and the other one the right audio channel. I had 2 pairs of these one pair in the front and one pair in the back. Once the 2 speakers are paired in stereo mode you can pair one of them to your Bluetooth enabled device, like cellphone or android tv for example.
So I bought 2 pairs of Oontz angle3 raindance Bluetooth speakers and this transmitter. With that device i would be able to play 4 speakers at the same time from my cellphone or from my tv or androind tv. Even Avantree support told me it "would likely not work" but I still bought it and well.....it works amazingly!! I can either connect my cellphone via 3.5 mm cable to play music on 4 speakers in stereo or connect optical output of my tv to watch movies on this completely wireless setup!! This is great! I must say for movie watching on my tv there is a small audio delay induced by Bluetooth but it is still decent. For music it is really perfect! So if someone is trying to build up a similar setup know that it will work at least i can confirm it works with rhe Oontz Angle3 raindance Bluetooth speakers but not sure with another brand. Hope that will be useful to someone with the same idea.
