Simple to hook up but make sure you have the part that hooks up to the sensor the right way otherwise when you turn the car on it will turn on then turn off other than that no problems and there is no shifting problems. Edit- check engine light turned on and car started shifty hard, so I took the intake off the then saw a wiring harness that connects to the O2 sensors was broken and causing hard shifts and check engine light so fixed that and put the intake on that was a week ago and car is shifting like new definitely increases throttle response and no check engine light! So if you are having problems it is your car not being able to read right not the intake.

Just a tube with a filter on the end, not much can go wrong. MAF sensor fit nicely. Tube could be an inch or two longer to clear the cam cover better. Decent alternative to a name brand intake.
