The DMX Values in the manual are incorrect

After messing with this for a long time I discovered that you must set channel one to 255 then you can set any of the color channels to whatever value for brightness you prefer and the light will respond to dmx. The manual says the value for the dimmer channel (1) for full brightness is 135. That's incorrect. It's 255.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased 3 of these and replaced an old disco ball with a new one. As you can see, does the job perfectly! These three lights are roughly 4 feet away from the ball.

These are really cheap in every way. I wanted an RGB LED fixture to control with DMX from MacOS software (Lightkey). I spent hours getting DMX control to work and it was really frustrating; the lights behaved totally unexpectedly. I started to suspect I didn't have the right DMX profile. I read one review here that suggested these lights were only 1 channel fixtures. There is no profile for these lights built into Lightkey. I tried all the other U'King profiles in Lightkey and nothing worked.
I decided I would return the lights and went searching for another RGB LED fixture with solid DMX control. I found Donner sells a light that looks exactly the same called the DL-5. I suspected they are the same device, and found a profile in Lightkey for the Donner DL-5. After patching this profile to the fixture in Lightkey, it works as expected!
Docking a star here for a frustrating day trying to get these working. Would have appreciated documentation for DMX control (number of channels, etc)
