I thought the figures were very nice. They looked more realistic than many other nativities. I was sad when two of the figurines came broken. It seemed packed pretty well, but once I opened it the bubble wrap around the two broken figures was lacking, one layer only, not padded enough. So I had to send it back.

-1 star for coming with Joseph's head broken off. Easy fix

This nativity set is the most reminiscent of nativity set I had when I was a child. I like this because of the moss on top of manger, and mine had that. There's no replacement for my childhood set but this is the closest I've seen anywhere. I was always excited when it was that time of year when we set it up. Yes, my old set was better but it got lost and when I saw this, it wasn't a modernized set, not plastic, and just brought back my happy memories of my old set. I'm excited for when I can display this ( soon) and although not my original, it's the closest to my memory. I'm happy it's ceramic pieces, not plastic and manger is made from wood with some moss on top! I really can't even express enough how much THIS nativity is able to allow me to be happy about the loss of my childhood set!

Joseph's head was broken off. Nothing that super glue wouldn't fix, but it's entirely too expensive to have it come broken. Not happy one bit!
