Rusted screws

The tiny 6 screws that hold the 2 pieces together are steel screws. I live on the beach and receive ocean mist this mist corrodes steel in a matter of weeks. It would really help if the screws were stainless steel so there would be no rust. I had to drill out the screws because of rust some worked some didn't and I can't find stainless steel screws that small. Outherwise a good product to mount blink cameras with much better than mounts that come with blink

When I first received these the screws for holding the two plastic housing pieces together were missing. There are five screw locations from the back housing piece. It wasn't obvious what replacement screws I should get so I contacted the seller whom sent a replacement that did include the 15 screws. Black, machine style about a #4 pan head and just under 3/8ths an inch long thread. The screws are actually a tad smaller but good luck finding something smaller. Other than that issue, I am happy with the housings which hold my Blink XT 2 cameras. The installation is really easy using the provided pattern and the points of articulation are very intuitive allowing multiple mounting possibilities.

The units are pretty easy to put together and seem like they are watertight. The camera fits nicely into the case and has plenty of room for the power cord if you choose to use one. It is really nice that the connection to the camera is completely covered by the case. Mounting the brackets are pretty straight forward as well. My only complaint was that I was short some screws. I received 7 not 9 screws to mount to the wall and 12 not 15 needed to screw the cases together. Not a deal breaker but a pain, especially for the cases since they are pretty small screws. Overall though I would recommend them.
A bit large and slightly obstruct the view but work as described.

Decent build with two caveats.
1. They are substantially larger than the blink xt. 1/2 to 1" excess on all dimensions of the hard plastic case. Since its not internally padded there really is no reason for it. This is a bit of a problem for my needs and how visible they are. May not be a deal breaker for you so Im not scoring them low.
2. The hood on the top obscures the view slightly on the top right and left of the recorded image. Ironically the height of case Is one of the few places in the case without much excess clearance.
It is built well but these 2 minor problems tell me that it wasn't tested much between the design and production phase. Easily corrected if so. It is however, not defective and works as described so I cannot fault them too much. In my case they will not work for me. YMMV

A MUST-HAVE for the Blink XT-2 when used Outdoors

I will start by saying that Blink (an Amazon company) includes a small mount for each camera, but the included mount is very limited. The mount that comes with the XT-2 is a small, round, 2-piece set of plastic that holds the XT-2 camera about an inch off the wall. This is not nearly enough to achieve sharp angles with your camera, like what you will see in my first picture. With the factory XT-2 mount, you can probably only get about 30 degree of angular play
With this set you are able to achieve a full 90 degree angle with your Blink XT-2 Camera outdoors. I wanted the cameras to be relatively out of sight, so I went with almost 90 degrees on the 1st picture and about 45 degrees with the 2nd picture.
With the price of this item in mind (under $10 when on sale), I consider it to be a MUST-HAVE for outdoor XT-2 Cameras.
