Thick ground cover, should be good in my garden
Zanzarista✓ Verified PurchaseOctober 2, 2023
This material is easy to cut using a sheet metal or utility shears. I used biodegradable fabric staples to hold it down so the there won't be and un natural metals leaching into the garden soil, just steel rusting in peace. I added medium bark chips on top. This should control and weed grow in between the garden boxes. If a plant is needed later, it should be easy to cut an X in the material to expose the ground and pkay.
Worked perfectly for remediation of hillside using riprap
AMZN REVIEWER✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 16, 2023
Had hillside wash away with a recent flood and put this down before installing 35 tons of rip rap along hillside. Used in conjunction with the tacks that have plastic disc rahther than just staples and worked perfectly.
Great stuff

This stuff is great - heavy duty. I'm using it under 3" geocells filled with gravel to eliminate mud in my horse paddocks. Some that was installed a year ago is performing perfectly, so I purchsed more to extend the mud-free area.

As an FYI - I ordered 2 that were shipped in one large box via USPS and the local post office would not deliver it to my house. The deemed it "oversize" and I had to go pick it up. I'm not sure why they'd accept a box that's apparently too big for them to deliver, but it did add several days to "delivery" time until I could get time off work to go get it.
When you order this item you will not get what is advertised.

The product is good but l was short changed on my order. I ordered 6 pieces of this fabric and received 6 pieces of this fabric but they were only half as long as advertised. Would like to talk someone about this.
Holds Up To 160lb Great Dane Running On It
Miss Katy✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 14, 2023
UPDATE: It has been over a year since we placed this down. Due to COVID we never got around to putting mulch down yet. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! Our swingset actually got blown apart in a recent windstorm but this still looks like the day we got it. We've even had to lift it to get to some leaking irrigation pipes and we just layed it back down with new landscaping nails with no rips/problems.

We recently leveled out a patch of our yard for a swingset we were putting up for our kids. Being that it was the middle of December, we needed something that was easy to put down and that would hold up to our Great Dane's claws when he gets running full speed until the springtime when we can get some mulch or other substrate to pour over it.

I'm happy to say that it was a breeze to lay out (much easier than laying strips of regular landscaping fabric), and a month later it's hanging in strong, even with kids and dogs running all over it, and my Dane's claws are HUGE. We're talking inch long thick talons. He's torn other tarps to shreds in a day from running over top of them.

Another thing I can comment on is that they are very porous, it's rained several times here in the past few weeks and there is never standing water. Will 100% recommend to anyone wanting to lay an absurd amount of landscaping fabric. The ONLY downfall is that it shreds pretty easily along the edge if you cut it. Not a huge deal as we folded most of ours under.
