I purchased this in May of 2020. It has been fully functional since day one along with the ORIGINAL battery. The functions are simple, volumes, fwd/rewind, play/stop, and phone activation. I will say it's just a touch on small side for my hands, but the main functions for me are on the outer edges of the unit, so no issues when I want volume or fwd/rewind.
So if you have a steering column with no audio controls, here you go, worth every penny. I also like that the base is magnetic so the unit easily pulls from the base when needed and I can toss it over to my kids and let them control the music.

I have this remote paired to a FiiO M11 Plus ESS player, and it stays paired constantly. I do not have ANY delay issues. In my job, I cannot look down to change tracks/pause/change volume etc. This allows me to do so by feel alone so my eyes stay where they need to be. I made one modification to improve the usefulness and that was a small hole in the magnetic case to allow for a lanyard strap so I could hang it on something and not just look for a magnetic surface. I've spent a lot of money on Bluetooth remotes, and I've had many misfires along the way, but this is definitely one of the best yet. I can't speak for iOS, but for music control on Android, definitely recommended.
Works well, connects easily most of the time.

The only issue I've had was sometimes it won't connect and it's hard to enter pairing mode when this happens. This situation happened after about 2 weeks use with my old 5 year old Samsung phone and I needed to turn off bluetooth on my phone, press the + & - and then it would enter pairing mode. It was like the phone forgot about it, but the button was still connecting. When I replaced my phone with a newer Samsung, it worked perfect for about 10 months, used practically everyday, until one day would not connect. The same trick I used with my S8 did not seem to work this time, I removed the battery thinking it might be dead after almost a year, but it was still at 3 volts. when I put the battery back in, it went into pairing mode and my phone connected right away.
This issue is probably due to the low power mode it uses and I can't complain too much (as long as the issue is very rare as seen with my newer phone) as the convenience is well worth the occasional connect problem.

The Perfect Companion for an Echo Auto

I recently purchased an Amazon Echo Auto. Unfortunately, the Echo Auto does not have play, pause, skip, and previous-type buttons like my old Bluetooth adapter did in my car. I purchased this Tunai remote as a supplement to the Echo Auto and it is the perfect companion for it. Now I can easily skip or backtrack in my podcasts and pause a podcast when I need to ask the Echo Auto to do something (because the Echo Auto doesn't automatically pause media that doesn't originate within itself). I like how it nicely mounts on my steering wheel too.
Keep in mind that if you use iOS and really want the Tunis to activate Siri, this remote does not do a particularly good job of it (while my old Bluetooth adapter handled this simply and perfectly). For me, it's not a huge issue as I was able to adapt by simply pausing whatever I was playing and say "hey Siri" to activate it instead. This is the only ding I can give it really from keeping just shy of a 5 star device other than I also wish the buttons felt a little more separate from each other. I sometimes hit skip when I meant to play/pause, for example, but not very often. Highly recommended.

My first controller. Don't really have a frame of reference.

Pros: I really like having a remote control. It really stays in place on the arm of my steering wheel. I have it placed exactly over the stereo controls of my steering wheel, because only the volume works with my bluetooth transmitter. The buttons have raised edges, so once I got used to which is which I can feel the buttons briefly and get what I need. It sits in a cradle on a magnet, and it hardly ever wiggles--only if I hit it in a way that gives it a good nudge. Also, it connects as a controller, so it doesn't use up a bluetooth reciever slot. Since I have a Samsung that can connect to two devices at a time, I can have my stereo receiver, a dedicated phone receiver, and this all connected at once. This does not have a microphone or anything.
Cons: The problem, though, is that it doesn't connect automatically. I have to press a button to get it to connect, and then I have to wait ten seconds or so for it to make the connection. Also, the volume buttons respond weirdly. I will press the button and it will not adjust and then press the button again and it will adjust like I pressed it three times, things like that. I have the TUNAI bluetooth transmitter. I don't know how it would work with a different brand.
