I plan to use it for Zip lining on vacation, every thing I needed came with it. I needed to go on line to figure out the attachment for helmet and clip on. The sound and image quality was very good. The connection to my phone for downloading was not intuitive, but the on line guide helped. If this is for beginners, I can't image what more could come from the more expensive go pros.
Honest Review!

I used this for the first time on a 17-day Grand Canyon rafting trip. I was a little hesitant to take without a test run but I didn't have time. It worked great. I just wish there was a light indicating the devise was recording, I did miss some great action because I couldn't easily confirm it was recording as I approached the rapids.
Get one of the best and fastest SDXC cards with the highest amount of memory you can afford.

I use it for a dash cam, until I can find one that will meet my criteria. Will also be using it for my podcasts, using my 4 cats as my production team. Plus the many other subjects I've mastered over the years. Most people will find something to their liking, even if it's just to put a smile on their face. I'll be using this camera for explaining how to fix or repair common household problems which can happen over the years. From new construction to remodeling. How to save money while on a budget. Then one of my first loves, handloading all the way from acquiring casings at scrap prices, then conditioning them so one could tell by looking if they are new or used. Before you ever purchase a rifle always compare the barrel twist to the bullet weight you will want to use. This alone will put you on the path to owning a very accurate rifle.
It works but has a few problems with it

This camera is alright. I bought it to use as a dash cam for my ebike since it is easier for me to bike to my office than it is to drive there. I love the plethora of mounting options it comes with as you pretty much have free reign to mount the camera any way you want it (that's the way you need it). However, there are a few odd things with this camera that I figured are worth mentioning
First, the video quality seems to be okay. Even though this camera records at 4k (I checked the specs of the videos it was recording), the quality seems to be pretty grainy (it's absolutely horrible at night), and I noticed that I could pretty much only read a license plate (which is extremely important if a driver decides to hit and run), if I record at 4k or 2.7k, and can get a super clean, close up look at the plate. The videos at this quality take up a ton of space on the SD card so if you use this as a cycling dash cam as well, you'll probably find yourself clearing the space every few rides if you have an SD card under 128GB.
Next, the camera seems to stop recording and start a new video every time the file size gets up to a certain amount (Around 4 GB). Not terrible to deal with, but it can make file organization annoying if that's important to you.
Finally, for some reason the camera's date/clock settings seem to be saved on RAM memory instead of the camera's own hard memory, so you'll need to reset it every time you remove/change out the battery. This is especially annoying if you use the camera quite frequently (as I do)
