Bought “usedâ€; missing packing foam - still works. Meh, seems weak

I guess I should be glad I got this when I did; I see prices are rising fast for these. I bought this "Used" to save a few bucks; the unit was in its original box but one of the two styrofoam packing pieces was missing. Everything else was included and the unit seemed ok other than a few blemishes. I settled for the non-wifi version, even though I think wifi-enabled stuff is really cool, and I already have a multitude of smart devices on the Tuya platform (which BTW seems to play nice with Alexa).
I have it on right now, just sitting on a box, not hung up. The jury is still out. I like that it's fan-forced as I think this makes a big difference in a heater's ability to heat a room. But it doesn't seem very warm or far-reaching so far, even on High. My cheaper ceramic heaters seem about effective, even on the 750W setting.
I have my ceramic & oil-filled heaters on smart plugs; I did try switching this on & off in a smart plug, and when switched on the heater seems to remember it's last setting. But I think it's not such a great idea as the unit needs to run the fan to cool the elements; if suddenly de-powered these could be damaged over time.

So glad I got these!

So I bought two of these last year after we went through below zero degree temps with a crap HVCH system and about froze!! Because I bout them after the worst of winter, tonight I did a pre-winter test. I dropped my house to 66 degrees ( it's almost fall so I knew I could warm us up in case all went wrong) and placed one in my room at 73 with a third party thermometer to test how it kept my room. Needless to say it's working wonders. I plan to buy a few more for the house before winter so I'm comfortable! Great purchase, and through my research safe as they shut off and don't over hear for fire risk! These are a wonderful alternative to portable heaters that can cause a fire!
Great Wall-Mounted Heater with plenty of features - and smarter than most

I've only been using this heater for a short time, but my initial impression is excellent.
1. Installation - It included all hardware, clear instructions, and a template complete with a level to help place screws/etc. Far better than most products of this type I buy. With this said, their sheetrock anchors seem a bit skimpy, but in my case that was a non-issue since there was wood behind the wall.
2. User interface - Perfectly usable. If all you want is a simple heater, you turn it on, set your temperature, and you are off to the races. it remembers the prior temperature, so really, you can just turn it on and off once you have it set right.
3. Smart Features - This uses the Smart life app, which is used by many of the smarthome accessory makers. It works and ties to Alexa, which is the smarthome assistant we use. Within minutes I had it paired and was controlling it using voice commands. In the app, you could set timers, control the temp, and toggle it on and off so it did everything I really wanted it to do. My intent is to setup an Alexa routine that turns on the heater 10-15 minutes before we get up in the morning.
4. Power Levels - The manual even describes how it controls the power level depending on if you have it set to "Low" "Auto" or "High" which is awesome and demystifies how "Auto" works. I've included a photo from this page. Additionally, when the heater turns off, it leaves the fan on for a bit to cool down. Once again, something not everyone would included that may extend the life of the internals.
5. Construction - The outside construction is all plastic, which is fine as long as it is safe. It feels like it is good quality and well thought-out/designed but not over-built. It's not a tank, but as an example of the thoughtful construction, the top two attachment screws on the rear have rubber grommets around the mount point, which is not something they would have added if they were trying to make them cheap as possible. The bottom mounting screws also have metal inserts, which will better assure you do not end up stripping them out over time.
6. Noise - It is a heater with a fan, so it will make some noise. I've had heaters that are both louder and quieter in the past. I would call this a mid-loudness heater. Not annoying, but you know it is there moving air in the room.
7. Heating Ability - I have not measured it, but stated max draw is 1000 watts, so it isn't the most powerful heater on the market but it is fine for the size of our bathroom. The fan moves enough air that you can detect the heat coming out of it a few feet away.
Overall, I'm really impressed. Great value for the money.

Not just a very good product, but well supported!

We like the features of the unit, and how easily it integrates with our voice controlled home network.
What we didn't expect was support from the company when a surge blew our wifi board. They sent us a new one with an instructional video that made installation a snap. Even companies that build decent products don't commonly support them to allow for maximum product life (keep them out of landfills!). This company bucks that trend.
We have a larger unit in the same series, too, which we really like. And we will buy from this company again when we have the need.

These are slick wall heaters. I like the 1000W design as this heater is to be secondary heater in a 12x12 room. The wattage will not tax a shared 15A circuit like a 1500W heater as they will only draw 9amps maximum. I like the design, no fuss control, tip-over protection, and it is quiet.
Be aware that the WiFi verson requires a 2.5Ghz connection. I have a 5Ghz router that I think could be changed to 2.5 in order to connect, I'm not sure as I didn't try it. Also, calibration must be done via WIFI and cannot be done through the controls on the unit. These 2 requirements made me return the heater and exchange it for a non-Wifi version. I don't think I would really use the Wifi capability as the heaters will be used for secondary heating in a basement apartment.
I am using 2 known sensors as a temperature standard as they are within 1 degree F of each other. I am calibrating to this number. Keep in mind, for an accurate temperature reading, you may have to calibrate the unit following all the protocols in the users manual.
The company is in Utah and customer support is very personable and thorough.
I have ordered 3 non-Wifi models of the 1000W and will be mounting these in separate rooms when they arrive in a couple of days.
Based on this experience I highly recommend these heaters.
