Super simple installation - stick to outside wall with adhesive. Stick receiver to inside wall with either screws or adhesive although I just left mine sitting on a bookcase. Defualt chime is pleasant and loud, but not too loud. Only thing I wish it had was a light on the outdoor push button thing.

When the product arrived I couldn't believe how small it was. However when trying it out I was impressed with the sound and loudness. I bought this to install in a room some distance from the door as the existing bell near the door is too quiet to hear if you are not in the same room. Stuck the bell push on the wall outside the door with the supplied 2 sided tape. It would be good if the manufacturer supplied a couple of extra 2 sided tapes for the receiver as I don't like to drill the walls in my leased apartment. No worries I will buy some double sided tape and fix it in a suitable spot. Packs a powerful punch for the money. Good product.
