The first one came without the holes drilled and prepared correctly but I returned it and requested another and the next one seems ok. It seems a little flimsy maybe? When you turn the pieces together there isn't really a point where they stop and are definitively in the whole way, they just turn and turn in circles and get tighter at some points. I've left it all turned in to the tight spots. We'll see how long it holds up to a toddler's use as the years go by. It was relatively inexpensive so I guess it's to be expected.
