Comfy, cute, & much better than a cone!

Our pup was so disoriented and miserable in the cone and someone recommended this miracle. (Yay for same-day delivery!!) It was easy to put on and she was actually excited to wear it. The material is soft and has an extra layer over the belly area. She completely left her incision alone. She was in-between sizing: L on length (23-24 in), M on weight (28lbs). The L was pretty baggy and I didn't want her to be able to chew it, so we went for the M. It just barely fit her length but she wore it comfortably for 10 days. My favorite feature is the "clip-up system" which is a snap on the chest to hold it in place for potty breaks. So smart!

I got this for my 6 month old Chihuahua puppy who is scheduled to be neutered in a few days. Last weigh in he was at 4.4lbs and I ordered the Mini size. It is a little big around his legs, but it fits really well otherwise. The snaps and material seem of good quality and the fabric is very soft. When buttoned over his tail it covers everything but it needs to cover for after his surgery, plus I like that you can unbutton the bottom and then button to the chest button for going potty. I will update whenever we actually are actively using it in 2 days, but so far it's great!

This works perfectly for my girl post belly surgery. I was dreading the awful cone post-op period. I'm of the opinion that a cone is more traumatizing than surgery. She is completely comfortable wearing this suit, and it's very easy to fold and snap back for potty breaks and inspection of her wound.
As a deep chested dog, the cut is perfect for her. The suit is snug around the shoulders and hips, keeping it from moving around, but loose around the belly so that it is clear of her sutures. There is a choice of 2 sets of snappers to close it at the back for a tighter or looser fit, or to adjust for tail height.
I bought 3 of them and change and wash them daily.
Note that I bought 3 different brands to try out and this one worked best for my long bodied, deep chested, skinny Weimaraner. One brand was too difficult to get on and could potentially cause harm in doing so, another was too short and insufficiently adjustable for length.

Bought a large for a large standard poodle. Fit perfectly. Very easy to roll for pottying. Material is very soft.
My dog didn't mind it at all.
However, if you've gotten one neutered, the long strap that goes up over the tail goes rite over their testicles that were removed and there is no way it can cover the area all the way to keep a licker back. I felt it rubbed too much and opted to buy a material cone.
Using for a female or any kind of abdominal surgery "¦.it would be perfect. Just bumped a star because it's advertised as neuter working and it just doesn't.

My dog loves wearing this instead of the cone. He had abdominal surgery and requires confined rest (crate) so wearing the cone was uncomfortable due to limited space and his size (he's 79 lbs). The onesie is super soft and I especially love the snap buttons which makes it easy to use during nature breaks. As for the fit, it's definitely true to size and I could have went with an XL but due to the large surgical incision area, I opted for a roomier fit instead of snug. There is a significant size different between XL and XXL so if your pet is between sizes, use your best judgment. Overall very pleased with purchase.
