Not wanting a full on ghillie, this hood is perfect for stalking around the beanfields hunting groundhogs. I ordered the multicam, and two bundles of woodland and one bundle of the dead grass. I took mixtures of both and tied them onto the netting, and put a dab of super glue on each knot. I was finished after a few hours. I then dragged the ghillie behind my lawn tractor through the mud and wet grass to break up the yarn and give it a more natural look. I will definitely buy another hood to make a dead grass ghillie for use in the late summer months

Obviously I bought this for airsoft so treat that as you will. Feels solid enough for what I do, supports the weight of a ton of jute and vegetation, very adjustable and it fits decently. One thing is I'm 6 foot tall and so the hood isn't as big as I'd like it but it works, just would have liked it a bit bigger so it drapes better and doesn't put as much weight on my head.

I bought this for airsofting because I wanted to feel like Kapkan and I've worn it twice so far. The whole thing adjusts using elastic cords that are super long so I adjusted them down with a bit of room and then tied and trimmed the excess. I trimmed off the extra buckles too that are used for attaching a cape which I don't plan on using. The mesh on the sides of the hood are nice for airflow but the hood tends to fall down without any weight on it. I'm in the process of attaching ghillie yarn to it and it holds a ton of material. I bought 2 bundles off here and need to buy 2 more but it's turning out to be very bushy like I wanted it to be.
I'll update this review after I finish setting it up and use it. Pretty durable for the price and very practical for what I'm using it for.

I bought this hood to combine with my cheap, crafted leafy mesh shirt, crafted boonie, eye and face pro. I zip tied strips of burlap, rafia, fake 3D leaves, and gutted Paracord to tie on natural vegetation. This hood worked perfectly and the mesh is breathable enough to wear in summer months. This is a great purchase and with a little work, you'll be invisible.
