Looks great, but installation not intuitive

Let me start by saying I'm not mechanically minded and can't even hang a picture straight. However, I was excited to affix the beautiful new reflective letters and numbers to our new mailbox, and the actual decal was very well made as described/pictured. However, despite reading the instructions, I'm pretty sure I didn't correctly remove one of two clear layers that was supposed to be removed because the "clear coat" is peeling. Luckily it doesn't affect the decal at all. Next time I'll let my spouse handle.

We are thinking about going to a larger sized mailbox because our mail carrier likes to stuff packages in the box. As a result, I wondered if the same address decals we previously ordered were still available. After locating the Back40Life order in my Amazon Orders List, I couldn't believe it had been exactly THREE YEARS since we got our vinyl address decals. They still look brand new! Even though they are in full sun and exposed to all types of weather, they are bright white, still firmly affixed to our black metal mailbox, and in essence look like they were just installed! Thank you for such a wonderful, well-made, and attractive product!
