Zataran's has good quality spices and herbs! They are like the good stuff my grandmother and her grandmother used, but didn't have to grow in the garden and dry it for later use. It's all the flavor that I remember enjoying when I ate a meal she cooked. Now I don't have to get my friends in Louisiana to buy it and mail it to me. I get to cook like my friends back home and also cook my recipes the way I was taught by my grandmother.
*Dried green onions and other flavorful herbs are part of the flavor profile that made so many Mom & Pop restaurants famous and made Louisiana cooking so famous. Cajun or Creole recipes, use natural dried herbs and spices and of course a very old recipe and you'll have a delicious meal that everyone will enjoy.
Side note, my grandmother was pure Cajun and she didn't put as much cayenne pepper and such as is done now-a-days. It was the blending of different flavors that that made a dish! Just sharing that it's not totally about the heat, but rather the distinctive flavors.
So I highly recommend this product and this seller! Now go get some for yourself and make a delicious meal for your family!

I wasn't sure how good the taste would be because I use other dehydrated veggies when I make soup, but this is really good. I add to potato soup, eggs, you name it. I've even put a spoon full in mouth when I want to taste onions. Weird yea but better than eating salty chips and crackers
Just add water
