I wanted a big and easily accessible mute button for my Xbox headset's microphone so that kids online don't hear me cursing when I die. With this, I can unmute quickly when I need to communicate.
The volume controls that switch between voice chat volume and game sound volume comes in surprisingly handy as well.
The input jack doesn't make a clean connection sometimes unless you press it in firmly when connecting, but nothing major.

So first, if your playing Xbox without headphones you have no Idea what you're missing. Especially multiplayer games like call of duty etc... Only games like street fighter don't really need them. Being able to hear someone coming up behind you or a zombie hissing through the wall is so important. 2nd, trying to change your headset or headphones volume is an absolute pain in the booty. Going in and out of the menu over and over trying to get the volume perfect will drive you to take your headphones out. That's 💀
Just plug this thing into your controller and adjust your volume without ever leaving the game or going into a menu ever again. Just press the + or - it's that simple. It's so easy it'll make you mad. Once you use it you'll always have it I guarantee you. The button in the middle is a "mute" for your mic. If the light is on then no one can hear you. I got one for my 8 yo brother and he absolutely loves it. After watching him go adjust his volume in game over and over getting frustrated I had to get him one. If it has issues then unplug it and plug it back in. Review is super long I'm sorry but I really love this thing and I know all Xbox gamers will too.

The product was working perfectly fine for the first six months, but it started bugging out when the Stereo Headset adapter wasn't performing perfectly. There were certain times when I needed to plug it out and replug it back in for the Stereo headset to work, but it functioned extensively until I needed a replacement. I was able to obtain a warranty with no hassle and there was no need for me to return the broken item.
