The size chart put me in a large.. I'm normally a small/pushing medium. So I ordered a medium and it's perfect. I will say that I wish the banding in the suit covered me belly button. It's just mesh there and I struggle with that particular spot. Overall, this is perfect for what I need to go with a dress for a wedding. Would buy again.

First, I'm not tall, and this only comes up to about an inch above my natural waist. So, it does create a bit of bulge above my waist, like around my bottom rib. (Above "muffin top" area though. That being said, for my needs from this product, that's not a big issue. Does flatten tummy, nip waist a bit, and back comes down to crease at top of thigh so covers entire bottom (so no pantyline in back as I wear tight skirt, but with tight pants I think a line would show on sides of hips at leg band). It's fine, and pulls on which I wanted. I did a size smaller than my inches measurements, based on look of product and how I suspected it would fit my body, and that "size down" was perfect for my needs.
Works like a Stay.

Quite nice. Holds my stomach in place nicely. It does have 2 pieces of boning in the front and 2 in the back. Those are fine, just a little uncomfy whilst sitting. I bought this to wear underneath a dress at a dance and I was able to move just fine for the 6 hours that I was in it. I didn't overheat so it is fairly breathable. It is rather difficult to breathe in until one gets used to it. As for the headline, anyone who knows anything about historical fashion will understand. But basically what I mean is that it doesn't add curves like a corset would, it just holds the stomach in place (a historical stay would also cover the bust and act as a bra).
