My 7 year old was getting so frustrated with the knee hockey gear he'd had since he was 3. He loves to be goalie and wanted gear that fit. These pads are perfect for this use. I think these are great indoor pads and come in a variety of sizes which is also great. I don't know how realistic these would be on the ice.
